Ingredients
  • 1 lb Pure pork sausage Sliced 1/4 in. thick
  • 8 oz Can whole tomatoes
  • 4 oz Can mushroom stem and pieces
  • 1 cup Chopped celery
  • 1 cup Chopped onion
  • 1 Bell Pepper Chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp Cooking Oil
  • 1 cup uncooked rice washed
  • Salt & Pepper Add according to taste

  • 1 lb Pure pork sausage Sliced 1/4 in. thick
  • 8 oz Can whole tomatoes
  • 4 oz Can mushroom stem and pieces
  • 1 cup Chopped celery
  • 1 cup Chopped onion
  • 1 Bell Pepper Chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp Cooking Oil
  • 1 cup uncooked rice washed
  • Salt & Pepper Add according to taste

Instructions
  1. Put cooking oil in a heavy pot (3 qts).
  2. Add pork sausage and cook 10 minutes, drain excess oil, add onions, celery, garlic, bell pepper, whole tomatoes and juice, mushrooms and juice.
  3. Bring to a boil, season to taste with salt and pepper, add rice, mix well.
  4. Lower fire to simmer, put lid on pot and cook 45 minutes.

Do not stir while cooking.
